To solve this challenge, the V-mount Hot Swap UPS was created, becoming an indispensable power backup solution for the industry.
The V-mount Hot Swap UPS is a hot-swappable uninterrupted power supply system, purpose-built for film and television applications. Fully compatible with all devices equipped with a V-Mount interface, it works seamlessly alongside batteries in daily use. At critical moments—whether when a battery is running low or needs to be replaced—it instantly takes over power delivery. Thanks to hot swap technology, users can replace V-Mount batteries without shutting down or restarting their equipment.
While operating under normal conditions, the device is powered by the V-Mount battery, with the UPS system continuously monitoring battery levels. Once low capacity is detected, the system automatically enters standby mode, ready to take over at any moment.
When the V-Mount battery is removed or fully discharged, the V-mount Hot Swap UPS instantly switches to its built-in backup battery, ensuring uninterrupted operation and preventing footage loss or workflow disruption.
Equipped with a 36Wh internal backup battery, the system guarantees steady power during battery replacement. Once a new main battery is installed, power supply automatically switches back to it, while the backup battery is recharged and prepared for the next switchover.
Built with premium A+ high-discharge battery cells, the system delivers fast and stable power during interruptions, ensuring device safety and reliable performance.
Features dual 16.8V 3A 3-Pin D-TAP outputs and dual 16.8V 3A 2-Pin LEMO outputs. The 3-Pin D-TAP adopts a new reversible plug design, significantly enhancing convenience and flexibility on set.
Green, yellow, and red LED lights clearly display remaining power, allowing users to replenish in time and avoid unexpected shutdowns.
